Posts page still accessible

Hi
I have selected Restrict All in the Posts tab. For the user role, this hides Posts from the left hand menu, however the Posts listing admin page is still accessible from /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=post (if manually paste url) – this problem does not occur when Restricting custom post types.

I tried changing the Capability Controls (Post & Page category), eg changing Edit Posts, Read Posts etc – but this also disables Custom Post Types which I don’t want.

Any ideas why /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=post is still accessible when Posts should be fully restricted?
