    Hello,

Please forgive me here, as I am not real familiar with how to properly set up an email-marketing connection between PopUp and MailChimp. I just installed this plugin, and I don’t see a way to incorporate the subscription fields Email, First Name, Last Name on the PopUp window.

Can anyone please share with me how to do this.

    Thanks in advance…

  • Hi there @jmarshane116,

Hope you’re doing great today! ??

There are a number of ways to include MailChimp forms but possibly the simplest is to just go to MailChimps form creation section at Signup forms > Embedded forms.

Then you can customize and get the code you’ll need to paste into a PopUp. Here’s a screenshot showing the MailChimp embedded form section:

You’ll likely want to tick the option that reads, “Disable all JavaScript”. Otherwise, WordPress will just strip the JavaScript code for security purposes.

Could you let us know how that works for you?

    Cheers!

    Hi David!

Thanks so much for your reply and your instructions. I have applied them and re-tested the popup and it seems to work fine now. Thanks so very much!

A minor issue that I am having is: My image is stretched lengthwise on the popup. Is there a way to keep it from re-sizing when the popup changes, or message length changes?

    Much thanks in advance…

David, I forgot to mention: After the Email and Name info was entered, and the popup went away, there was no page (or message) informing the visitor that their submission was successful, or that their information has been received.

Is this a form that has to be be created? OR should it happen automatically?

    Much thanks…

    Hi @jmarshane116,

Thanks for your replies, really glad you were able to get the form into the popup! I’m sure we could help with the image issue if you’ll simply provide a link so we could take a look.

I could have a look at the form submission with that as well, there may be a simple solution for that too.

Looking forward to your reply! ??
