• Customers receive an email confirming their order with the sequential number.

    However, they also receive a confirmation of payment through Authorize.net or PayPal, that gives them a different order number.

    It confuses customers. It makes it difficult to look up some orders on Authorize.net.

    None of the ordernumbers on the the payment sites match the order numbers on my web site. This can, at times, be a big problem with Authorize.net.
    Authorize just doesn’t have a very good search function and we rely on the order numbers.

    Our payment plugins are: WooCommerce Authorize.net DPM Gateway by WooThemes version 1.0.1
    and the PayPal that is built into WooCommerce.
