• We are trying to sync our Sharepoint Calendar and display in a calendar format on our website. We found this widget available (https://webservices.ufhealth.org/help-support/how-to/sharepoint-calendar/#prettyPhoto) however, in the Set Up and Configuration I found Setup & Configuration section, listed below, we couldn’t find the theme options- Sharepoint Calendar Settings under our appearance tab. Suggestions? Any help would be appreciated!

First, your SharePoint calendar has to be configured so it can communicate with your WordPress website:

Step 1 – Contact Internal Web Services

iWeb Services will perform the necessary configurations to your SharePoint calendar to allow certain kind of events to be accessible from the outside — just send them a note.

Step 2 – Configure your WordPress website

Visit the Appearance / Theme Options / SharePoint Calendar section of your website
Under the field “SharePoint Calendar URL“, paste in the full URL of your SharePoint calendar e.g., https://intranet.ahc.ufl.edu/ahc/OfficeCIO/ciodept/SystemsDevelopment/xWeb/Lists/Demo Calendar/calendar.aspx
    Select “Save Options“

  • Hi @catholicjacks. That messaging implies you are using a theme that has options built in for the SharePoint calendar. we are only able to provide help for themes that are available on www.ads-software.com/themes. Can you tell us which theme you are using?

I would be interested in this too. Evidently the UFHEALTH.ORG IT department has to do something on the server-side of SharePoint first. Maybe they are using JIVE or some other product to make SharePoint more accessible.

This was a custom plugin developed for our organization, but it was not in a turn key condition to release to the pubic at large. For interested parties, we give it out, but it requires very familiar experience and abilities with PHP, SP, etc. to customize for your organization’s purposes. It’s not intended for the public at-large, and those instructions are for our users.

    Thanks for posting kingkong954.
I was guessing it was a custom job. I am continuing our search. we would very much like to see the plug in. Our church’s web team ( including IT folks) is trying to decide between platforms and we’re stuck on the SharePoint – WPress calendar incompatibilities. they are volunteers, but highly skilled, and I am sure could customize it.

Did you get a working solution for a Sharepoint calendar to be displayed on a WordPress site?

Never did. We’re probably just going to have to use google calendar.

kingkong954 are you still willing to share the plugin with our church? If so, please email to [email protected]

    THanks so much.
