yeah.. i see.. tried to empty cache, reinstall.. everything.. but same error always.. no idea what to do.

I just added a check to see if cURL is active on your server. Please re-download and install the plugin and go to the System Info menu in our plugin and please repost the report.

If you do have cURL active on your server can you try and see if another shortcode will work. Like this one.

setting up my id instead “gopro” and changing type to “group” getting the same error as before. to me, seems like that “group” is the problem

Gotcha. Try this one…. and make sure to empty cache before adding or changing out the shortcodes, just to be sure.

I removed app ID from settings and cleared cache. Now it works. Is it possible to make this work with Facebook profile?

Glad to hear you got it working! Sounds like maybe your app ID was expired possibly.

It is possible to get it working with your Facebook profile, the 2 conditions are;

1. Follow instructions here on setting up an APP in facebook and then also getting the 60 Day User Access token. Sometimes just getting the APP ID will be enough but for other posts or shares on your wall, you may need the 60 Day User Access token. https://www.slickremix.com/docs/create-facebook-app-id-or-user-token

2. Make sure your privacy settings are public when sharing links or images. It’s not required and may work in some cases without doing this, you’ll just have to test and see as facebook does change API calls from time to time about what can be seen.

When is token needed? I added token now instead of App ID? What is difference between User token and App token? On your tutorial says to paste App token while on Settings page User token.

Both seem to be working on feed from page and group but not from profile with mobile uploads, album is public and all pictures are public.

After I added token it shows only 5 pictures with question mark inside but it links them to Facebook images. But still there are over 100 pictures in that album?

Token expired after 2 hours. When I remove token and clear cache Facebook page and group feed works. Facebook profile feed/mobile uploads still doesn’t.

I added short living token and cleared cache. Refreshed (Ctrl+Shift+R) Mobile uploads page which was showing error and now it again shows 5 thumbails with ? inside but linking to proper images on fb. Why so?

So I generated long living token now, cleared cache and all same, ? on thumbnails on page Mobile uploads and same error as before on Facebook feed from profile, page Najnovije sa Facebook profila.
I added some extra reading/posting permissions just in case I need them, and clicked Okey on each popup FB asked me for permission.

Why can’t I still get this to work? Is there extra step with profile?
