• How do you add an image to the slider…? I go into “Slider” category, create new “slide”, but there is no way to select an image. It’s just a post body field, and I tried by adding an image to this body field.

    But when I go to view slider on live site, the img src attribute is blank, it doesn’t point to any URL.

    This is the HTML code that was output to the website:

    <div class="slider-wrapper theme-default">
        <div id="slider" class="nivoSlider"><img src="" data-thumb="" alt="" title="Sheep" style="display: none;"><img class="nivo-main-image" src="" style="display: inline;">
            <div class="nivo-caption" style="display: block;">Sheep</div>
            <div class="nivo-directionNav"><a class="nivo-prevNav">Prev</a><a class="nivo-nextNav">Next</a>
            </div>
        </div>
        <div class="nivo-controlNav"><a class="nivo-control active" rel="0">1</a>
        </div>
    </div>

    So how the heck are you supposed to add an image?

    The “Add Slider” should use an image/media field, not a body text field.

  • I am having the same problem. I am using wordpress 4 with the twenty thirteen theme. I want an image slider in my post pages. I set up everything per instructions. I was confused about whether or not the image should be placed as a featured image or an image link on the slider page. I tried both locations but the images did not appear either way. My nivo slider is on the post page but not images.

    This is the link to my site:
