  • Hello GrahamDLovell

Can you list all the plugins you have installed. There might be some conflict between the plugins.
Also are you using a single domain site or wordpress.com based site?

    Best Regards,
    Al

I reckon that when I tried this I only had Akismet installed.

I now have BuddyPress, Groups and WooCommerce.

I am hosted on a shared environment on easycgi.com.

    Hey Graham,

Well you will need then to install Jetpack plugin and activate the Contact form module. I checked the link above where it is all described how to use the Contact option but is all for sites hosted on wordpress.com. At the end of this document you have

Self-hosted/installed WordPress(.org) users can enjoy the same functionality with the Jetpack plugin.

Jetpack is something with tools box for WordPress made by the same guys that have developed WP. After installing it you should connect your site with your wordpress.com account and then you will have full access to the goodies from Jetpack. Have a look in the Jetpack settings for the Contact Form to activate this module. And also have a look at the other modules. There some pretty nice things like statistics, social sharing buttons and much more.

    Best Regards,
    Al
