Not Blocking Private Messaging

    I have 3 access levels: Free Member, Premium Member, and Visitor. The visitors I block from BuddyPress pages (which works fine), the premium members I allow to private message and create groups (haven’t tested yet but those are added to the Positive Rules), and the free members I want to block from private messaging and creating groups (I have those added to the negative rules).

    But when I try it out with two test accounts (both are showing up as part of the free member access level/subscription plan) it allows private messages the same as normal.

    I’m running WP 4.0, BuddyPress 2.1.1, and Version 3.4.6.1 of Membership Premium which I got as part of the WPMUDEV bundle. I have no other membership plugins active or installed.
