My blog entries are not hi lighting on my home page

I have been using wp for about 5 months. Things were good. 3 days ago I purchased a template from Monster Template. It has been a nightmare. From the install to the bugs. I have toiled through and have something kind of manageable but need more tweaking.

I decided I would blog to explain to my customers the situation. When I did I found that my blogs don”t hi lite on my home page. On my other pages I can hover over and select the blog but on my home page I can not.

I a seeking suggestions and hope to get out a large mass email as soon as I can get through this issue.

My issue is specifically under the section on the home page called news. On other pages it is called recent posts.
I am messing around with the recent posts. I’m clueless.
