After installing and deleting a plug in, my Add Plugins page is not working correctly. On my dashboard if I click plugins, add new, then I get a screen that states – An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.
    Thank you for your help.

  • Hi Jen, the WordPress plugins system is currently down. We are all having issues accessing it. Please rest assured that it is not your WordPress install! It should be fixed soon, assuming the WordPress core developers are aware of the issue.

If you have any further concerns, please do not hesitate to ask. We’re all here to help out.

I’ve also started a general topic for this issue: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wordpress-plugin-system-down

Thank you so much for getting back to me! After posting this, I went back to the forum and saw another similar post. I’ll be watching your general topic for this issue also. Thanks again!

Hey Jen, it appears to be back up and running now. Let me know if you’re still having issues!

I am so glad I saw this topic. I just started to migrate my old wordpress site to a Bluehost server but was getting a blank screen for the import plugin. So relieved that I didn’t do something wrong. So thank you both for the stress relief!

Dale – Perfect, thank you for letting me know!

Side note – not sure if I’m allowed to post this here? – but have you ever seen a plugin for a most recent post widget that uses pictures in the widget display that is gathered not from a thumbnail but pictures that were created by links to a website in those recent posts? I’ve searched to no avail.

I asked my designer, neither of us have seen nor heard of one. If I am understanding your explanation correctly, it seems rather simple to create.

Could you elaborate on your idea of how it would work? You are welcome to contact me; I could try to throw something together for you quickly. My email is [email protected]
