    Hi,

My use of your plugin is to display an external website url fully over the top of another without disturbing the underlying content. e.g. enter one url and view the other instead.

Ideally there would be no ‘dual’ scroll bars showing the presence of 2 pages.

Can you please advise if Advanced Iframe can do this?

    thanks
    Paul

You want that the iframe is shown on top of the other page? Do you have access to this page?

    Thanks for your reply.
I’m setting up the iframes on my site.
Then overlaying my client’s site on top of mine.
My client gets to piggy-back my site.
I want there to be no indication that my site is there apart from my url – so 100% display of my client’s site.

    Hope that helps

    You can try an iframe with width 100% height: 100%. And style z-index:100;position:absolute;

    thanks Michael.
I’m missing something because the iframe isnt working on my site.

If I want the iframe to display on every page of my site is it just a case of editing the settings in the “Advanced iFrame – Default settings” section?

I’ve added to client’s url field,
    changed the height and width
and added “z-index:100;position:absolute;” to the style field.

I’m using the plugin on a wp network. Activating it at site level (not Network Activated)

I’m assuming that because I want the iframe to work site-wide that I don’t need to use shortcodes on each page.

    thanks for your help.

Of course you need to add the shortcode to each page.
The default settings are only the default for the shortcodes – not for all pages.

You can try to add the shortcode to your template. But you than have to evaluate the shortcode there. See the wordpress documentation.

    Best,
    Michael
