Jetpack mobile theme and lightbox

    I am using Virtue Theme (V-2.2.5), WordPress (V-4), and Jetpack (V-3.1.1).
    To have a friendly mobile site I have activated the Jetpack mobile theme.

    I use Woocommerce and when I view my eCommerce shop using a desktop the product image gallery opens up in lightbox.
    However, when I view the same product in a mobile phone I get the image link instead of lightbox.
    I have already attempted to use Jetpack carousel, Woocommerce lightbox, checked/changed the Virtue theme specific settings but still getting the same result, mobile phone does not use lightbox.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    The lightbox effect is added by your theme, so every time you switch themes (like when switching to a Mobile Theme like Jetpack’s for example), all that is specific to your theme stops being loaded on the page.

    I would suggest contacting the theme authors, and asking them if they’ve release a plugin version of their lightbox. If the lightbox was managed by a plugin, it would be applied to your images regardless of theme you use.
