full width slider setup & image size recommendation

Hey,
1) You can have a full-width slider with the free version but you would have to use a plugin. The premium version comes with the Revolution slider which is a premium plugin that works really well for full-width sliders.

2) Fullwidth doesn’t necessarily have to do with image sizes. A slider with fullwidth settings will stretch out a photo if it needs to, it just may not look good. Your image sizes depend on the slider your using and how you want your images to display.

I would like to have a full width image in the top of this page : https://viticulteur-exemple.fr/___test
The original size of my image is : 2020*430

I try several options, but no one does not work :
1/ I create a row with Page builder and put my image in the background. I put “full width” in the layout row option
=> problem : i can not define the height. So my image is cutted

2/ I create a row with Page builder with “full width” in the layout row option. Then, I put into this row the “virtue:image” widget and add my image with this code <img class=”alignnone size-medium wp-image-274″ src=”https://viticulteur-exemple.fr/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/VinPanoBeaujo-300×64.jpg&#8221; alt=”VinPanoBeaujo” width=”100%” />
=> problem : i can not define the size of the image

3/ I create a row with Page builder with “full width” in the layout row option. Then, I put into this row the “visual editor” widget => problem : i can not define the size of the image

=> problem : the image does not display on the full width screen

4/ I create a row with Page builder with “full width” in the layout row option. Then, I put into this row the “metaslider” widget

There isn’t a built in option for a fullwidth slider with the free virtue theme. You only option is to use pagebuilder and say the metaslider. But when you add the meta slider you have to make the pagebuilder row “full stretched” in the row settings.

It’s not working for me. I use Huge it slider, but a tried with metaslider and no full width.
Any idea?

Yes, it’s working. My mistake. I made the pagebuilder row “full stretched” in the row settings but i forgot to put the right width in huge it slider option.
