• Hey there guys,

First off great plugin. We are now starting to use it more fully.

Here is the issue we are having.

When users sign in to the website: https://www.fasttracklifeuk.co.uk

    TEST USER: Najeeb
    TEST USER: 123456

    They receive this error message:

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Apache Server at fasttracklifeuk.co.uk Port 80

We tried disabling S2Membership and the website works – we recently had godaddy our host services reset our wordpress for us which may have caused this issue.

What is the solution as we’ve got a lot of customers who are calling into the office asking why their training material isn’t working ??

    Kind regards
    Rahil

  • Someone else recently had a similar issue, and it was caused by very out-of-date software that their host was using. So I’d suggest first that you install the Query Monitor plugin, and then use it to report the versions of Apache, MySQL, and PHP that you are currently running.

It sounds like you’re running an old version of Apache and that’s causing issues with the .htaccess file(s) that s2Member installs.

s2Member requires Apache v2.1+ and PHP v5.2+. You can run the s2Member Server Check Tool (unzip & upload to your server — then open in a browser) to see if your server meets the minimim requirements. If not, I suggest opening a support ticket with your web host to have them upgrade your server.

    Hey team,

Thanks a lot of the support. I’ve send it to our technical team and hopefully we’ll get something back.

We’ll keep you posted if this is the solution.
