I am trying to get v3.8.1 to work with a couple of my sites, but I have run into a problem when trying to view the events. No matter what page template I use and no matter what I do:
    1. The main text for the event is white on a white background
    2. All letters are capital
    3. The text is wrapped wider that the text area, and a couple of letters in the beginning and in the end of each line doesn’t show because they are outside the text area.

It seems that it completely ignores every css setting there is from the theme I am using. How do I fix this, I just want the text to look the same as on the rest of the site?

    Hi Fizzgigg,

Thanks for your post. You mentioned switching page templates, but have you tried using a different stylesheet under Events –> Settings –> Display? That can make a big difference in how much of your theme’s styles influence the calendar.

If that doesn’t help, you’ll probably need to do some customizing to make the calendar look the way you want. As outlined in our forum guidelines, we aren’t able to help with these kinds of customizations. But we do have some handy resources that might be helpful for you:

? Themer’s Guide – provides an overview of how to customize the plugin’s frontend appearance.
? Tutorials – useful tips and tricks for changing how the plugin looks and behaves.
? Technical Docs – provides an overview of the classes and functions in each plugin

Good luck, and thanks for using The Events Calendar!

I’ve tried different stylesheets under Events –> Settings –> Display, and the only thing that changed was point three in my list. It was when the stylesheets didn’t helt I tried another page template, but that didn’t change anything att all.

I’ll have a look at the guides and tutorials, but since I hardly know anything about coding I don’t really know what I’m looking for.

    Hi Fizzgigg,

I’m sorry, but we aren’t able to provide additional help for this sort of thing. If you need to make those changes, you’ll want to hire a developer.
