Where is the information stored for the correct path to my site, I have looked in config.php, well all over an cannot find it.

To explain why I need to know, the problem was caused by me as normal. I have a main site and a parked addon site on my host, like a fool, I changed the paths to the parked ones, were I should have installed it in the first place and now I get a “site not found when I click on any of the links on the site.

The site itself shows up but is missing the template colours, the content on the first page is all readable, but if I click on any link, it just says, “site not found”, it is looking for the wrong path.

    Hope that all makes sense

thanks for taking a look here

    all the best

    erector

  • You have to log into your database via phpMyAdmin to make the change. The site settings are not located within files – it’s in the database.

You have to log into your host’s control panel, look for “phpMyAdmin” and log into that, then go to “wp_options” in your wordpress database. Then look for “blog_id” and check the box next to it, and click “browse”. You’ll see your URL there. Edit it *carefully*. Save. You’re done.
