  • Hey @wmdiensten,

The 504 Gateway Timeout error is an HTTP status code that means that one server did not receive a timely response from another server that it was accessing while attempting to load the web page or fill another request by the browser. The installer does try to make a request to the google jquery cdn, so if the host your on blocks access to the cdn that may be the issue, however the installer does try to fallback to jquery within the installer…

Most of the time, this means that the other server is down or not working properly, but the cdn is from google so I don’t think it would be down. I would contact the server admin of the host your trying to access the installer from and see if they have any clues…

    Cheers~

    Thanks for the comment!

I think i might find the problem, the old hoster uses Plesk panel.
On the new host we use DirectAdmin, this could cause some problems.

The directory names are not the same, i think this is why the host keeps hanging.

    Could this cause our issue?

That could cause issues, however I wouldn’t expect it to cause a 504 timeout. Have you tried to contact your provider to see if they have any clues?

I keep getting a Build Interrupt error every time I try to backup one of my sites using Duplicator. I have used the plugin several times on other sites with success but for some reason, cannot get it to work on this one. The error I’m receiving is displayed below.

When I go to view the tmp file listed, there is nothing there. It does not exist in the directory. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Server Status: 200 -OK
    Error Message:

    Notice
    Build Folder: /home2/myservername/public_html/wp-snapshots/tmp

Sorry. I just figured it out after digging further into your support forum and noticed you had a reference about turning on the “Archive Flush” option in the settings. That worked great! Thanks again for a great plugin!!

    Thanks for the update!
