How to create one column with right sidebar

  • Hi All

    I want to have a theme that has the following setup.

    Header with Nav Bar
    ————————————-
    Page I Side Bar
    ————————————-
    Footer

    I have been trying to create one with limited successful, the issue seems to be that the SideBar always appears at the bottom.

    I am using InstantWordpress as a test environment.

    Are the any basic themes around like this, or any guides on how to do this?
