Also, I am really liking how amazingly easy this plugin is to use! Thank you! Where is your donate button?

    Hi @brookebot,

that’s one of the things on my TODO list. I need to think about this one a bit, as while it’s great, it has one downside – each page load it forces additional database calls to find those images in the media library and get their descriptions. Nevertheless, expect it in a couple of day.

When it comes to the donate button, it’ll be there with the new version ??

    Hi @brookebot,

image description support added in the new version of the plugin. Let me know if it works properly!

Hi, the description is NOT appearing when I try to “pin” an image. No matter what I do, I get the image title.

Also, there exist both “Caption” and “Description” fields for an image. Since my files have “captions”, perhaps because they come from Adobe Lightroom, I really need to be able to use that field, not description!

Here’s the gallery I’m trying to get to work.

(Note, the button images don’t work because I use a W3 CDN for caching, and your plugins images don’t get cached without explicitly mentioning them. Then, they require uploading to the CDN. Another issue.)

Just had the chance to try it out.

Everything works great for regular blog post. Image description is being pulled.

Description is not being pulled for WooCommerce product post – still just using the title even though the “Download image description from Media Library” box is checked and “Image Description (from Media Library)” is first in the lineup.
