Stop in Middle of the Page

Is it possible to stop the element in the middle of the page based on a tag or the container it’s in instead of only stopping it based on bottom margin?
I’m not using sidebars, instead I put the widget on the page and each page has a different length with some parts being [fullwidth and others being [one_half. If I could stop it based on reaching a tag like [/fullwidth it would be perfect for all pages regardless of page length.
