Any way to keep content out of mysql?

    Are there any plugins or hacks that would let me keep my content in files instead of mysql? I want to be able to check my pages into version control and edit them with vi.

    Not as far as I know. wp is entirely database driven. I don’t know how that might square up with svn et al, but then again, why would you need anything as involved as svn for a wp install?

    Nope.

    If that’s what you really need to have, then WP may not be your best solution.
