• Hi, I have discovered that if a member edits their profile, they are being unsubscribed from the mailchimp list.

I believe this is related to the following from the release notes:
(s2Member/s2Member Pro) Bug Fix / List Servers This release corrects a bug that may cause members to be unsubscribed from a List Server if they forget to check the box again while editing their profile. In the previous release we introduced a feature that allows the checkbox to be pre-checked if the user already chose to subscribe once before. However, the internal tracking for this was not as reliable as it could be. There is still more work to be done on this front, but the immediate issue has now been resolved. Please see this GitHub issue if you’d like further details.

But … there is no checkbox. I guess in my custom theme, there’s no checkbox showing on the profile page or something.

Question: how do I stop this from happening? I already have to remove members manually when they cancel their membership due to a different problem, so is there a way to just turn off unsubscribes altogether?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

I have the Dashboard ? s2Member ? API / List Servers ? Double Opt-In Checkbox option set to no – because I don’t want the checkbox. People paid so they are subscribed. Does this change that was made in v140603 mean that I have no choice but to display the checkbox or else it is deemed to be unchecked otherwise ??? It doesn’t seem right that if someone edits their profile description they get unsubscribed!

This sounds like something you need to report to Pro support.
