    Hi there

I’m using your nice plugin on my website that I’m managing now in 2 languages Italian/English.

    I’m using WPML last version.

I create myself the file it_IT.mo and it_IT.po and all is fine When I’m reading italian pages I can see exif data properly in my languge.

Regretfully when I’m reading english pages I can see again exif data in italian and not in english.

If I delete from server it_IT.mo and it_IT.po I’m back to all in english but not italian.

    What I should do?

I’m not sure off the top of my head, but I’m guessing that your primary language is Italian? Maybe it needs an en_EN translation file in there as well, or translations in the string translation module. Are you using the string translation module?

There’s no en translation file, just the empty original files that have no language suffix on them. What if you try renaming the exifography.mo and exifography.po files to exifography-en_EN ? Does that fix it?

Hi, first of all thanks for the reply.

Default language of the website is Italian as I’m oriented to italian market.

I already did what you correctly suggest, I created also en_EN.mo and en_EN.po files but they are not woking.

If the system find the files it_IT.mo and it_IT.po I got always italian.

I’m using the WPML string translation module and till few days ago I can manage the problem using the string translation (so I was not using it_IT.mo and it_IT.po I ).

I updated the WPML string translation module to last version and now the module can not check string in plugin…. this is something really new that I have ALSO to solve.

Sorry for the terrible delay on this. Please let me know if this is still an issue, which version of WPML you’re using, and maybe an export of your string translation module so that I can test the issue locally. Thanks.

Hello there, I have created the file it_IT.mo and it_IT.po but was not enough so I used also wpml string translation and now is working.

    Ok, that’s good.
If you want to send me the .mo and .po files I can include them in future versions so other Italian sites can use them (if you want to share your work). Shame it needed that extra step to get WPML to show both.
