I am using the newest WordPress. I have the WPMU Membership plugin, I also have Comic Easel with Comicpress theme. I need membership for when I setup a forum, it will integrate with the site membership.

The problem I am having is that I cannot get the Membership Plugin to recognize the posts for comic easel. When a visitor goes to site, they see the first page with my comic, but when they click next, it displays as protected content. I suspect that the plugin doesn’t recognize Easel pages, so no rules for it can be created, thus it defaults to protected content.

Does anyone know how to integrate Comic Easel with ComicPress theme with WPMU Membership plugin?

Most membership plugins need to be setup/or written to understand ‘post types’, if they don’t then you need to use the protect by URL section and enable inside comic easel the option for the chapters to be seen in the URL line, then you block inside the membership plugin the specific chapter URL’s

Thank you again for your help with resolving that. Ended up being my Membership Plugin, I shouldn’t have anything in the URL section. Go figure.

When I attempt to use the Membership plugin on either of my Comic Easel sites, it tends to utterly foul up my navigation on the site.
Links end up leading to nowhere, comics disappear.
I must be missing something somewhere.
Is there a guide to setting this up properly, anywhere?
