Pretty Link Pro php file contains Malware

    I am getting a warning that the “pretty-link-pro.php” file has a Delicious link in it and that the Delicious links are on the Google Malware warning right now.

    “This file contains a suspected malware URL listed on Google’s list of malware sites. “

    How do take care of removing the link from the file? Or can I simply delete the file?

    Hi Allie,

    We’ll be pushing an update soon to correct this, it’s not malware in the plugin itself, but Google has identified the Delicious short domain as a malware site. So you should definitely disable the Delicious social button option in Pretty Link if you’re using it.

    There’s no risk of running the plugin though, and you can just choose to “ignore until file changes” option in WordFence.
