How to edit Index page?

  • I have created a reviews website based on the ReviewIt Theme. On the main page, it shows each company that can be reviewed but it shows the date that their page was posted and who posted it.

    I would like to edit and remove this as it is not necessary information, but I am having trouble finding it under Appearance -> Editor. How can I figure out what page this is to edit it?

  • Hi there – there are two ways that I would go about dealing with this.

    1) You can either go into the template itself that has the content for the posts on your main page (we would have to hunt around a little to find out which one it is)

    2) or you can find which selector is applied to the content that you do not want to see (the date, and who posted, and so on) and give it a display:none in your css (style.css)
