    Howdy –

Let’sy site is https://www.example.com and when you go there you see recent posts, which is what I want.

I want to add a page called Home and corresponding link in main menu/nav (which I can do) but when you click it, from any page, I would like the reader to go to https://www.example.com

    How do I do this?

My theme is Restimpo – WordPress 4.0

    Thanks!

  • Well I am a little bit confused in understanding your issue.

Do you want to have Recent Posts on homepage (i.e https://www.example.com) or want to show a page?

At first you say that you want recent posts on home page and then you say when someone clicks on the page link on the menu bar, they should go to homepage url.

Can you please explain the situation better so as to solve this ambiguity.

    Regards,

    Hi –

You are very kind to respond – but I think I fixed the problem.

There was no “home” page just the index page, which I designated for recent posts – there was no menu.

I created a menu with 5 other pages, but when someone was on “about us” for example there was no way to get home.

What I did was make a new page, called it “home” – put it on the menu, then did a re-direct in Custom Fields and redirected “home” to the index page.

Probably not perfect, but it works – once again, thank you.

Its great that you fixed the problem.

    Have a great day.
