    Frustrated. Got the update to work on a client’s site but not on my own. I’ve deactivated plugins including my atahualpa theme and ithemes security – both of which my client is using.

    I’ve ticked the “use inline” but I see no reference to A5 in the login screen except in an empty script tag:
    <script type=”text/javascript”>
    // JavaScript createtd by the A5 Plugin Framework
    </script>

    You mention that it adds a rewrite rule – is that to the WP htaccess? Can you please provide the rewrite rule (and where it’s being added) so that it can be added manually?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    the rewrite rule is added to WP and cannot be added somewhere by hand. It just creates a virtual style sheet.

    It would be helpful, if I could have a look at your login screen. But that’s not to find under link, you provided.

    I’ll write again, if I have figured out something.

    Thanks for looking! Here’s the login:

    Incidentally, I deactivated ithemes security before checking the inline box. Thought might be interfering, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Also, doesn’t fix it to change to default theme.

    Thanks again

    Thanks,

    could you turn off the inline writing once again? It’s strange anyway that there come Javascript. It should be CSS. Might be a bug that I’ve built in while enhancing the plugin.

    Cheers

    Yes, off again. Thanks!

    Thanks! The reason why your login page is not styled is that the style sheet is empty.

    Did you check, that your settings are saved?

    Hi again,

    the thing with the JS instead of CSS was in deed a malfunction of theplugin. Thanks for pointing that out; I have fixed it.

    And still, I think you don’t have any settings for the login screen. At least there’s nothing in the style sheet when I look at it here.

    I saved multiple times as I was trying to get it to work.

    Oh! I just looked and all my settings are gone. Oh, great. Well, they had been there all this time. Maybe that was a result of deactivating it at one point.

    OK, they’re set again (I will have to tweak when I see it because I don’t remember some of them) and I’ve also exported the settings. Additionally, I looked at the preview page and found all the css at this link. https://blog.montereybaydesign.com/?A5_file=login_css&ver=1.0beta

    I see there’s an update which I just did – and tried – then saved using inline and – Yay! It works! ?? Reactivated plugins – and all good.

    Thank you for the update and for being on top of this one!

    Hi Debbie,

    I’m very glad that it works again and that you pointed out a bug that I didn’t notice on my own.

    All the best,
    Stefan
