Uploading an Upgraded Theme – says the file is too big!
-
Was using free version of Enigma Theme, but decided to upgrade to the Premium Enigma version. (Website is only a test at the moment).
Clicked on the ‘Upgrade To Premium’, and paid for it. I actually thought it would update automatically but it didn’t of course. So I downloaded the zip file to my desktop.I went to Themes, and ‘Upload a New Theme’. All seemed quite straight forward and simple, however when I selected ‘upload’ I got a message saying:
‘The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.’
… I should have guessed that it would not go to plan! ??
This is all new to me as I have always just worked in Dreamweaver.
Now I am stuck …. I paid for the upgrade to use with the site I am testing out and I can’t even upload it now because WP says it’s too big?!
Can anyone help please? To be honest, nothing seems very easy to find here on WordPress. I find it quite overwhelming all the stuff there is to read.
Appreciate if someone can help me with the upload of my upgraded theme.
Thanks
Sheila
