• Updated to SSL and now people are not able to register for events, unable to delete people from the search find contacts. We get the DB Error: No such table error. This is critical and we are losing business. Can someone please assist.

    https://www.phxfr.org

go to the ice party event and try to register or to the first Wed run in the sliders. We had to take out the run registration until we get the issue fixed. We have that going to another sign up database but we do not want to use that one.

    Thanks,

I’m afraid going to need a few more details:

When you updated to “SSL” you mean you added an SSL certificate, did you make other changes at the same time?

The event’s and registration, are they generated by a WordPress plugin if so which plugin?

Also the DB error, does it name the table it can’t find and is that table in the database?

Sorry for the barrage of questions

Yes we installed a version of SSL then godaddy said we had the wrong one and then we purchased the correct one and then installed/added that cert and deleted the old one

We are using civiCRM to manage the events. and members

No it does not give the table name, just DB Error: no such table

Ah that would explain what I saw as a strange error, it’s because the error is not being generated by WordPress but CiviCRM.

If you haven’t already you might want to raise this on the CiviCRM support area, as while the forms are on your WordPress site, the database error and presumably the problem is potentially with CiviCRM.

However one thing to try, if you disable the CiviCRM WordPress plugin then reactivate it, this may fix the problem,if its trying to connect to the CiviCRM via http rather then HTTPs it might explain the error.

Otherwise I’m afraid you might have to chat with them as to what the issue might be.
