event calendar 3 & sidebar widgets

  • I have event calendar 3 and sidebar widgets plugins installed. I am using the ilovemusic theme.

    1. Which file do I need to manipulate to change recent posts on non-home pages to look like my homepage recent posts? That is, I don’t want calendar events to be listed as posts; I just want them to appear on my upcoming events.

    2. Where do I go to increase the number of events showing (currently lists up to 5), and to rename “Upcoming Events” to something else?

    I highly suspect that I need to go to the widgets.php in the calendar plugin for one or more of these, but don’t know where to tinker, and what code to replace.
