****Themes do not appear in admin > appearance > themes****

    Hello, I just downloaded wordpress 4.0 and put it on my website. I downloaded the theme “persia” (https://www.ads-software.com/themes/persia) and then uploaded it to my themes folder using cpanel file manager. I unzipped the zip file and extracted the files. The files are all in the themes folder and appear properly installed. Everything looks okay on that end, but now I cannot find the persia theme in admin dashboard.

    In addition, I can see in my cpanel file manager that I also have other themes (twentythirteen and twentytwelve) but those do not show up in the dashboard either! It just shows the default theme (twentyfourteen) and it says I only have one theme. W

    hat is going on here? Why aren’t my themes showing up? What can I do?

    Well, I quickly resolved this. It is a navigation issue with the wordpress 4.0 dashboard. I downloaded wordpress multisite and apparently I was just not used to the navigation. D’oh!

    Anyhoo, I had to go to the top of the dashboard and click mysites > network admin > themes.
