• Hi,
I am using Creativo theme from rocky themes.
    Everything seems to work fine.
Recently I have started facing problem that I am not able to change Template Style i.e Full Width,Sidebar Navigation etc.. on any new pages I create.
The old pages are working fine but even if I try to clone them there template style is set to Default Template every time.

I have tried disabling all the plugins but it didn’t work.
    Can anybody suggest anything ?

    Thanks and Regads,

  • I’m sorry, but as you are using a commercial WP theme, you should seek support from Rocky Themes: https://rockythemes.com/support/. After all, that’s part of what you paid for. Here, we only support themes downloaded from the official WP.org repository.

    That is fare enough.
But I am ready to share the solutions here as well so that everbody else facing this issue might know of this problem.

This is the response I have received and I am not able to move ahead.

Backup your wp-config.php file and that’s about it – it’s the only file that needs to be backed up. Download wordpress and overwrite your existing installation. Lastly, copy back your wp-config.php file that you backed up.

    Help is appreciated..

Is that the response you received from Rocky Themes support? They should be the ones to further assist you.

Yes I received this response from them.
I don’t know what effect will wp-config.php will make..
I just feel there should be a place where amateur wordpress users can share there experiences.
I didn’t choose the theme but I choose the fact that the theme is based on wordpress.
Don’t know what to expect but I have received a lot of help from social forums but its that sometimes you get stuck on an unseen problem.

    Hi,
I have uploaded the website from scratch.
I have disabled all the plugins and I am using latest installation of wordpress.

I deleted all the files in the public html folder and uploaded a new installation of wordpress, then I linked my database but I am still facing the same issue.
On all the new pages I am not able to changes the Template settings in the Page Attributes column.
Whenever I change it it gets automatically set to default on upload.
I request moderators and experienced users to kindly help me resolve this issue.
    Thanks and Regards,

Are you still asking about the same theme? Do you have the same issue with all plugins off and using a default theme (twentyfourteen)?

Can you post a link to your site?

On all the new pages I am not able to changes the Template settings in the Page Attributes column.
Whenever I change it it gets automatically set to default on upload.

What do you mean on upload? When you save it?

    (@dakudiv)

I have tested and created a new page.
Following is the link of the page on which the Template settings are not working.
    https://embedded4u.com/?page_id=4460

Following is the page in which the settings are working.
    https://embedded4u.com/?page_id=4253

This is what I get on your site now in Firefox:

    Reported Attack Page!

This web page at embedded4u.com has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Chrome says page not found for both of those pages.
