The reason I ask is to get clarification about the options listed on the Front End settings to ensure I have them correct because I am getting blocked.

2nd checkbox “Block visitors from visiting the frontend of your website:”
I have tried WITH the box checked and NOT checked. The list of countries has only a few and my country is not in it. However, I am blocked most of the time when going to the front end.

Should this box be checked and then it is controlled by only those countries listed in “Select the countries that should be blocked…?”
Or are they completely separate controls?

Essentially, do they work together or not?

    Thanks
    Daniel

If you check the box the visitor is checked against the blocked countries and the black and whitelist. If the option is not checked it does nothing for the frontend.

Some folks only want to block visitors from the backend and not the backend or vice versa.

Thanks for your reply. I have been working with these set to block, along with a list of countries. At first I was being blocked from the front end, but have not been blocked lately. Perhaps there was something I set.
