DISPLAY WIDGETS not working 4.0

Downloaded it yesterday. Doesn’t work with my widgets. It is active in my Plugin Menu but there is nothing appearing in my Widget Menu, so not sure what is meant to be appearing – a stand-alone or integrated with each current widget being used. Also get a message – Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress. According to posts some members with 4.0 say it works. Why would I get this message then?
