• Hi

My website is incredibly slow. I do not have that much content and not many people visit the site at all.

I have disabled plugins and it is still slow.

Many times when i try to navigate to posts or plugins page, it takes a long time to load than it leads me to the error 404 page.

I also get a 500 Internal Server Errors and Resource Limit Is Reached errors.

    my website is https://www.amust.com.au

    A few ideas:
have you tested your website to help pinpoint the issues.
use a tool like this: https://www.webpagetest.org/

have you chatted with your web host to see if the issues are related to the server?

are you using any plugins that use alot of resources?
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/p3-profiler/

do you have any large images that might be taking a long time to load?

is there anything about the theme that might be causing slowness? does your theme author offer support?

thanks for replying. I will try your links out. my host says everything is fine on their side, it must be a plugin or theme.

i do have large images. is there any way to resize them without reuploading them?

im using wordpress 4.0, theme is quadrum by oangethemes. currently im using Auto Tags Generator, gravityforms, scroll back to top, Simple Ads Manager and WPBakery Visual Composer

ok, auto tags generator hasn’t been updated in over a year and is only compatible up to version 3.6.1, scroll back to top hasn’t been updated in 4 months and is only compatible up to 3.9.2.

beyond those potential issues you may have an issue with your theme and visual composer both of which are paid for addons so if you address the plugins that are out of date and things are still slow you should get in touch with themeforest about your theme and wpbakery about their composer.

other things to consider might be the server you’re on…

Wow, yeah. disabling it makes my pagespeed score from google go from 32 to 61. This really sucks

Hi there I’m facing the same problem.
I access management console, simply navigate through links. Doing this, memory occupation suddenly grows up and server stops.
No big graphic stuffs, 8 GB MEMORY 2 CPU on Ubuntu 32 bit on VMWare.
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks in advance.

    JLUKEMIAMI,
please start a new topic. while your situation is similar, it’s not exactly same. will be easier for volunteers to help you with your issue if it is not mixed in with another issue.

remember to share link to your website
    which theme you are using
    which plugins you are using
