FB Likes not working in posts

  • Facebook Likes not working at end of individual posts. I tried troubleshooting as recommended by deactivating/activating each plugin and still not working. I had a Facebook LikeBox widget that I deactivated in case it was conflicting but it still didn’t correct the issue.

    They used to work and has just recently stopped. Now only shows “loading” status. I would hate to delete FB Likes and reinstall it again as I would lose all the FB Likes in all my posts.

    I think you’re referring to WordPress.com Likes, is that correct?

    Your site doesn’t seem to be properly connected to WordPress.com at the moment. That’s most likely what’s causing the issue. Could you go the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on “Disconnect from WordPress.com”? Once you’ve done so you’ll be able to reconnect to WordPress.com by clicking on the connect button at the top of the page.

    If you continue to experience issues, can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.
