WPmultisite: Modals were working, stopped to appear on subsites
-
I have read the getting started guide.
Using WP v4.0 Multisite
Easymodal v2.0.16
Theme: Pagelines DMSMy installation of easymodal is on this domain:
https://www.minioffice.lv <-unfortunately the new version of the website featuring the modals is on an unpublished site and can only be accessed with a hosts file edit, if you could add these lines to your hosts file, you will be able to view the new unpublished website during troubleshooting:
89.111.50.80 minioffice.lv
89.111.50.80 https://www.minioffice.lv
sorry for the inconvenience! The site uses WP Multisite for multilanguage versions.
The modals were all working perfectly on our development servers, after migrating to the new host, the EN and RU languages homepage modals in subfolders stopped to work, though the LV homepage modals on the root domain still open.
You can see the buttons to press here: https://i.imgur.com/5RGXgBw.png
If you change language using the selectors in the top right of the homepage, you will see that EN and RU homepages clicking the same icons do not popup.
Modals on each subsite are set to load sitewide. I’m using gravity forms (non-cascading) inside the modal if it matters. There are two modals on each site, and all use the same class name eModal-1 and eModal-2. I’ve checked the footer source on each site/subsite and the easymodal JS seems to be present.
Here is a screengrab of the html for the working button on the root domain: https://i.imgur.com/84oSjp5.png
And the same for the EN site (its identical except that it doesnt seem to work): https://i.imgur.com/VbthzA9.pngI’ve tried enabling easymodal as network activated and indivdually activated plugin but it doesnt seem to make a difference.
Maybe some CSS issue? I’m stuck. Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated!
