FB like doesnt count, and there is no preview while posting on FB.

    We have recently changed theme to Twenty Fourteen. Earlier we had a Like and share button for FB and a share button for twitter.We installed Jetpack for WP and added the share button for tumblr, google+ printer and email. We also replaced the twitter share. We used icons. We kept the old FB like /share options, becaue we at that time didnt knew we could add both in jetpack.

    Everything went fine for almost a week, but yesterday when I made a posting with a picture, a video and some text, I didnt get any preview while posting the link on FB. I wondered if I had done something wrong,and went through all the details, but couldnt find anything wrong. I tried to share the posting to my FB page from the website, but just got an empty box and no possibility to share. I tried to like it and nothing happened.
    We deactivated the FB like/share button, and chose “the official” buttons and added the FB like to the rest of our “share-list”. But the button still dont count. The other buttons work fine though.

    When I noticed the porblem last night, and we still had the old solution with both pluins, I also tested a posting made 2 days ago. That work fine, both preview and the lika and share for FB worked.

    Then I made a new posting just as a test. The same problems appeared. No preview and no like counting.

    Now wehn we have deactivated the old plugin and only use Jetpack the FB like button doesnt work for older postings either.

    What have we done wrong? ANd how do we fix it?
    FYI, in the Stat option “referances” and click on teh FB search so I can see the links people have clicked on, I click on teh one that should lead to my problems post on teh website,a nd get this msgs:
    Something went wrong.
    Sorry, but there seems to be a problem with this link. ANd then they show to the link, and say that I can now go further on to the website or return back where I started.

    SO there is obviously something wrong between FB and the website that we need to figure out.
    FYI – we have recently updated every plugins to the latest versions.

    Anyone out there who can help? ??

    The problem solved itself. Probably there has been a conflict because of the two plugins that was used, and one of the collapsed and caused the trouble. By deactivate one of them, we solved the problem obviously. It just took some time before it was updated somehow.

    Now we just have to manage to add a FB share button, and everything will be fine.
