links in post dont work

  • hello,
    i try to include a link into a post, but it wont be visible as a link in the final post. well, i changed some wordpress-code, to have the page as i want, but i dont think, that i changed it in this way?!

    the code in “edit a post” shows the link with XXX

    or is there a pref for “links in threats”?

    “edit a post”? I don’t see that, perhaps that is only visible when logged in as a user with edit privs? I don’t see any links in the posts but the regular links seem fine. Perhaps just a CSS issue? What does the source look like where you should be seeing a link?

    ′ja, there is a <a href="...">ist</a> in edit/write post-code and visible, but not in the final post on the buch-page.
    f.e. the first text is following code:
    Das erste Bild zeigt noch Proben vom Mittag, ab dem zweiten Bild <a href="https://www.clausinisland.de/xxx"> ist</a> das Schauspiel am Abend zu sehen... Und das bei untergehender Sonne. Ohne Begleitworte.
    the url for the word “ist” is missing…. dont know why?!?!?
    i dont mean the headline (…Schauspiel der wolken…).

    Of course I can’t see it but I would first look for a misplaced or unclosed quote. I find it helpful to pull the code version into a plain text editor. I’ll often find something amiss, fix it, and paste it back before looking at the WSIWYG.
