    Congratulations
You’ve fixed the bug, The plugin saves in Dropbox

    Only 2 – Bugs
    1. works only with the complete code for Dropbox (not too bad)
    2. The possibility of – “File Deletion” does not work
Which can blow up the Dropbox account

    Thank you
    Hope will fix too soon

    1. Like I said it’s not too bad, I’ll try at the first opportunity.
    2. I understand that the update will come in the next version?

Just updated , and see the new process for authenticating dropbox….however, all I see is “Not authenticated!” with a “Create Account” button below it…and then the code fields…

Where’s the “authenticate” button? I pasted in the Dropbox App Auth Code, and saved the page, but still says “not authenticated”.

There aren’t enough details in this thread for me to follow, but I updated BackWPUp yesterday and now get the 401 authentication error when I try to upload to Dropbox. I don’t see any way in the plugin to reauthenticate. Please help!

The withe button behind the auth key box. Aftre getting code from DropBox and inserting in BackWPup click save.

Release 3.1.4 is out with a fix.

Many thanks for the update ??

Following the Auth Code instructions above and on another post relating to Handshake Issue, i’m still gettin the below error.

DROPBOX: (60) SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed

    Not sure where to start

    THX

@seven_neves: with BackWPup version did you use ?

    Hi Daniel,

Updated to 3.1.4 just prior to the backup attempt.

Still failing. Any data I can give to assist?

is it still the same message ?

    Hi Daniel,

    Yep, still the same.
I’ve gone ahead and made plenty of room on my DropBox login (leaving 0.5g available), thinking that maybe the problem was because my DB was near full, however no change to the error message.

    Thoughts?

Should I perhaps uninstall BackWPup and reinstall? (NO IDEA how to do that BTW)

Just this week I used the plugin and it worked for me.
Could be that the problem is not connected before to correct Dropbox account?
Before you click on the request code, login to Dropbox in same browser.
    It should work.

    Eyal

    I’ll give it a crack.
Failing that I might try to uninstall the Plugin, then reinstall.

Anyone know how to uninstall a WP Plugin?!?
