    I have sorted no2 by this post if helps anyone else but still need help with no 1 if you can xxx

    Go to “Theme Options” and then “Layout Setting” and then type type into the “Custom CSS” window this code:

    .post-thumb {
    display: none;
    }

    This will hide the featured image from the actual post page, but will allow it to still be visible when you look at the thumbnail in any of the category sections.

    Hi Kay,

    Homepage background is manageable using Appearance>Theme Options>Slider settings. You may change to one slider image without any description or keyword.

    To stop using featured image as background there is a checkbox available in Basic Settings saying Do Not use background as featured image. if you uncheck that it won’t show posts background as featured image but the generic image set from Appearance>Background.

    Hope i was able to answer the questions you were asking.

    Regarding the other question below what size is this box for the images to bob in there. Just so that i know what pic to aim for could not find size for this anywhere. As you can see my image not fitting it completely and looks a bit silly lol

    Hi Kay,

    Kindly check this file: main.css: wp-content/themes/skt-full-width/css/main.css

    Class: .category .wp-post-image

    There you will find: max-width:100% change it to min-width:100%

    That’s it. You don’t need to bother about size of images any longer.

    Via cpanel filemanager or via ftp you can download the file and then change it and upload.
