• I have created a databse using your wonderful plugin. It is indeed good. The problem we are experiencing is a limit to the file size upload. I receive error “There is something wrong with the file you tried to upload. Try another.” or the form processes without the confirmation screen and a blank file upload field.

My question is, what are the limits to file size. I have specified 25mb in the general settings and the wordpress site has a 40mb limit.

    Thank you kindly,

    Ose

A bit more data on the above. This happens for files bigger than 3.2 mb.

OK, just to be clear, in the general settings, you should have “25000” because it’s expecting to see the number of kilobytes you’re allowing.

The other thing to check is your PHP configuration, make sure it allows the file size and also the execution time limit needs to be long enough to allow the upload. Ask your web host if you’re unsure how to access your PHP settings.

Generally, unless you’re not expecting much use of the upload feature, or have a specific reason for allowing such large uploads, it’s a good idea to limit uploads to a much smaller size, like 500K or less.
