• Hi–

I’ve been using this plugin for a few weeks now. I keep running into issues with importing. I’m using your Quiz Converter site and have been using escape characters for all ” ‘ ^ , etc. I’m loading about 125 questions right now and the importer will only upload questions 1-28. I keep looking at questions 28 and 29 and cannot figure out why it won’t upload any of the questions after. Any ideas what might be going on?

    Thank you!

Nevermind. I was able to figure it out. For anyone else who may be having issues, be sure to use the escape codes for any special characters (https://www.theukwebdesigncompany.com/articles/entity-escape-characters.php). I replaced everything that was out of the ordinary including < > ” ” ^ / ‘ ( ) ,.

The thing that was causing me the most problems was that I replaced all of the regular quotation marks with an escape code, but didn’t realize there were “curly” quotations marks within some of the questions. My find/replace only caught the “straight” quotation marks, so I kept getting an error.

Hope this helps someone out there!

Hi Jester! This functionality is what I am looking for, loading quizes in bulk. Can you help me how to use the quiz converter site? Thanks!

It is very hard to import questions. There are some SW’s like https://esltutor.net/quiz-converter/ but as jestergirl says there are problem with s?pecial characters.

It works, yes but these characters are headaches. XML transformation is hard. You have to edit the questions and answers afterwards. I imported 38.000 questions and answers and revised lots of things.
