Changing the social link’s titles displayed on mouse hover

I’m trying to use the snippets in https://themesandco.com/snippet/changing-social-links-titles-displayed-mouse-hover/ to change the text in the hover “bubbles”.

The RSS one is actually translated into Swedish somewhere somehow, so that’s reasonably ok. But nothing happens with the social media “follow me” links when using the snippet, they stay “Follow me on…”.

This might be caused by me having a site in Swedish, and the “Follow me on” text has not been translated? Regardless, I would loke to know how to chnage it, with some other php code, or some other way.
