• Hi
Thank you for a wonderful plugin!

I have a problem as described in title- All my users can see every other user tasks.
I read earlier posts and i saw this issue twice.
At first i was running with Master view and then i switched it to group as iv’e seen it as a solution but it didn’t help in my case

Any ideas how to solve it?

    Best regards,
    Mike

  • Same here. It seems that the permission settings aren’t working ??

@cindy, would you be able to help please? ??

Is there any support available on this plugin? It’s a really good one. Would be happy to help where I can.

Sorry for the delay. I’ve been going through a hard year and this plugin has been neglected, sadly. I have not tested it with 4.0, so there is a possibility that something changed in WordPress. It would be helpful if you could take screenshots of the plugin settings tabs in the configuration you would expect it to work in. Then I could see if I can replicate the issue.

It’s fairly simple, on WordPress 4.0.1, let’s say you have admin and editors. Even if you set YES to “Show a User Only the To-Do Items Assigned to Them”, an editor is able to see the entire list of tasks, and not only the ones he’s been attributed.

Under To-Do List > Settings > User Permissions is the item View To-Do Items assigned to other users set to something only admins can do and editors cannot?
I will check out the plugin but I wanted to mention that in case the setting had gotten changed for you and happened to allow a capability that editors have, so you didn’t have to wait for me to check out the plugin in case that was the answer.

The “Show a User Only the To-Do Items Assigned to Them” is set to “Yes”. The “User roles to show” is ticked for Admin and Editors. But for example, an editor can see all the tasks assigned to an admin.

    Hi,

I am getting the same result. I have an Editor role who can see tasks that are not assigned to them.

    Settings:
    1. Advanced Settings > Show a User Only the To-Do Items Assigned to Them: Yes
    2. User Permissions > View To-Do Items Assigned to Other Users Capability: Manage Options

    WordPress 4.3.1

    Thank you for checking.

Update: changed the List View to Group and it worked ??
