In my opinion you are getting spam thru contact form.
Even your email is in plain text in your contact form: “maud.cr******@gmail.com”

Are your spam messages stay in your comments section?
Or spam just came to email?

Can you share typical spam message you get recently?

Spams are showing in my comments. When I log in to Worpress, it is showing 5,000 comments are waiting for my approval. It is also showing me on what page I got these comments.

Here is a small screencap to show you the type of spam I get:

Can I ask how you saw my email though?
I can’t see it on the contact page despite looking at the source code.

    Thank you.

    • Anti-spam plugin does not block manual spam comments.
    • Anti-spam plugin does not filter already submitted spam comments.

Do you have spam flood after Anti-spam plugin was activated?

Can I ask how you saw my email though?

Your email is in the html code of the feedback form.
Visit contact form and inspect html code of the feedback form and search for hidden inputs and search for hidden input with “emailTo” name.

The spam comments kept coming after I installed the plugin.
The screencap I sent you was showing the spam comments I kept getting after activating the plugin.

Thanks for looking into it. Feel free to close this topic.

IPs for both comments are Chinese so it is spam.
These comments can be even manual spam.

If you want – you may send me some temporary credentials for your site and I will check it.
Or you may just search some other plugin to block the spam.

    Thanks for investigating.
These started to appear when the key I had for the plugin Aksimet expired. I thought I would look for an alternative plugin and that’s when I found yours.

I found a new key for Aksimet now, I kept your plugin active as well.
Running both at the same time doesn’t seem to do any harm and that way I’m sure I don’t have to worry about spam anymore.

Thank you very much for your help.
