New version of widget doesn't work

Do you have a link or error messages from the JavaScript console?

I am having the same issue after i was automatically upgraded to WordPress 3.9.3. Everything was working fine before. Now all i see is a spinning clock dial.

I followed the instructions as listed above (Created the API credential) and re-verified the calendar was public (it was before as it worked in the older version of the Widget)

Without a link or JavaScript console output there isn’t much I can do to help. Please provide more information.

I’m going to need more than that. What is the full dump of your console from when you load the page? Can you also look include the details of the failed requests?

Is there a way that you can make the page public temporarily so that I can look at it directly?

@glars89 i think i found the problem : you used the old full url instead of just the calendar ID
in your case, replace in you widget pannel at line “Calendar ID 1” https://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/[email protected]/public/basic
by only
[email protected]

and it will work

This solution doesn’t work for me…

The xml link for the calendar is:

I’ve inserted nahoracompt%40gmail.com and [email protected] and nothing works…

The website is https://www.nahora.com.pt (sidebar on the down under the words “Próximas obriga??es”.

What should I put in the widget?

Yep, this solution doesn’t work for us either – You can see the calendar in the bottom left now where we moved it –

Seems to be a pretty major change in Google…

This is the feed that WAS working before in the widget –
https://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/eastportlandchmbr74%40gmail.com/public/full but now it’s “forbidden”.

After looking at the widget, we saw the API mention and established that, but no still no dice – still forbidden.

Then I tried the public calendar feed in the widget – Which is the only working feed I can find…
https://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/eastportlandchmbr74%40gmail.com/public/basic

These feeds are also “forbidden” by Google.

@sonolento. Your calendar ID is still wrong.

Right now it is this…

it should be this…
[email protected]

You have a similar problem. You must set the calendar ID in the widget settings to just the email id, not the full url.

Looking at your page, you are requesting with an ID of this

https://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/eastportlandchmbr74%40gmail.com/public/basic

It should be this
[email protected]
