Exclude category from blog

    Hey!

    Is it possible to exclude category from a blog page? I tried with a code in functions.php and it was working but then it made my admin panel show errors. I also tried to exclude a category from index.php but that gave me errors also.

    I would like to have two different blogs, one for blog, and another one for news. So, I want to exclude one category id from main blog and show that category on a another page.

    After everything is ok with categories how can I show only “news” category id posts on one page and without sidebar?

    Hi,

    Might I offer a suggestion to try? Content View plugin. I believe on the free version you can select a category. Display on grid. Declare how many rows you want to show… thumbnail or no… full post… or excerpt length… Read More link.

    Then just display on a page and make your right or left sidebar or full width or whatever you want for layout.

    Might be an effective stop-gap solution until Categories Blog in future release.
