Support for Welsh language

    I’m using The Events Calendar on a bilingual website which uses the qtranslate-plus plugin to provide the Welsh side of the website.

    Unfortunately my events calendar seems to be almost exclusively in English, the only slight exception being the actual event titles.

    The days, months, events page heading, sub headings and everything else is all exclusively in English.

    I see in the plugin files there is a ‘languages’ folder containing a load of .po and .mo files for several languages – but no Welsh (cy).

    Any suggestions as to how I can get the plugin to be fully bilingual? It’s a really lovely plugin, I’d hate to have to stop using it as apart from the language issue it does everything I need it to do…

    Hi debbidoo,

    I’m sorry, but our plugin is not currently compatible with WPML or similar multi-lingual plugins (like qtranslate). We are hoping to make them compatible in the future. If you’d like to stay updated, add your vote to the UserVoice page. We’ll update there as we go.
